Elephants

This morning after breakfast we journeyed to an Elephant park where we rode on elephants, watched elephants having a bathe in the river and then watched a show where they danced, blew on mouth organs, played football and painted pictures. We thought it was going to be cheesy and exploitative but it turned out to be wonderful and the elephants seemed very happy and well cared for.

We then went to a surprisingly interesting and informative insect zoo. Charlie handled all sorts of huge bugs.

Sitting by the pool now. Forecast says 39 degrees today so frequent dips in the pool and cold drinks are the order for today.
