This is where the Thai people wish you a new year by throwing water over you.
The hotel had a party, not really aimed at the guests (indeed only 9 guests showed up) where they danced and sang and blessed a Buddha and released some fish. It was all lovely.
At the end the plastic buckets come out and everyone got thoroughly wet. Great fun was had by all including C and Charlie who wished me a very happy new year... :)
Thai food tonight and elephants tomorrow.
