Trying to find a particular restaurant supposedly just around the corner from the hotel... We found it impossible to put one foot in front of the other without Tuk Tuk drivers offering to take us anywhere for 50 Bhat (about £1) - happy hour special apparently.
Having failed to locate the restaurant we instead found a 24 hour tailor who is now making 2 raw silk dresses for C for about 100 pounds each and we also bought 2 pictures from a street vendor which when framed shall act as a reminder if our trip.
It is the Manager's Cocktail party tonight. Should be fun.
